Do you sense a gap between the life you're currently living and the one you truly want?
Have you tried figuring it out on your own, but end up feeling stuck? The decision to
make changes in your life is not easy, it requires strength and self-awareness. It can
seem daunting deciding where to start, but you don’t have to walk this path alone. I
provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore the obstacles in your way,
uncover the strengths you already possess, and find the path forward towards a life
more in line with your values and goals.
Our work together will involve growth on two levels. On one level, we’ll address the
immediate challenges causing you distress, using practical, evidence-based strategies
to help you find relief and stability now. On a deeper level, we will explore the underlying
patterns, beliefs, and past experiences that led to the challenges becoming a problem in
the first place.
My scientific background informs my approach. I will incorporate research-backed
techniques from modern Cognitive-Behavioral and mindfulness-based therapies into our
sessions. When you begin working with me, you will set goals for our time together. We
will then take direct action towards those goals. I will offer a space that is both
compassionate for processing your feelings and active in its approach. I am not simply a
passive listener; I will offer new perspectives, provide tools, and help keep you
accountable for working towards your goals. I can’t promise that our work together will
be easy, but I can promise that it will be worth it.
My approach will be matched to fit your needs, drawing from
● Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
● Exposure Therapy
● Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
● Mindfulness-Based Therapy
● Narrative Therapy
