Therapy helps us create happier, more fulfilling lives. I don’t believe we are meant to figure everything out in life on our own. Sometimes we get lost, or overwhelmed or stuck, and we need some help. Maybe we need help healing from past experiences and reconnecting with our authentic selves, or we need support to make it through the hard times in our lives, or maybe we need help finding new ways of adapting or responding to our ever-changing world. Before I tried therapy, I didn’t believe that change and transformation were possible, but what I experienced profoundly changed my life and made me want to learn how to help others.

I work collaboratively and creatively to help people find solutions to what’s not working in their lives. Therapy can be hard, but I don’t push people. Fear, sadness, anger, or defensiveness may come into the room, but we don’t try to get rid of them; we explore these natural responses instead to find out more about them. Everyone is unique, so the goals of therapy are different for each person, but I place emphasis on Mindfulness, Imagination, Emotional Intelligence, Life Purpose, and the Mind-Body Connection. Some of my specialties are helping people overcome anxiety, building self-esteem, self-discovery, and using the expressive arts as therapeutic tools.
